I highly doubt if Russia and China went to war, it would be a land battle. Sure, missiles will be flying around and stuff, but there are too many factors to consider. Personally, I've already mentioned that if it was STRICTLY Russia v. China (as in no one else is going to help/participate), China would win as Russia can't afford anything close to a war.

As for how much It would cost. No one cares about money if they have a nation on the line, and Russia dosen't have to start it. Land war? Maybe, but in the end, if up against a wall, it could mean total annilation of those groups. We currently, along with the rest of the world, won't launch because we know that will be met with a similar recation. Again, a land war is improbable on a high scale, because it would involve the countries in between, and that would make it a war involving more than just China and Russia.

I concur, the Mongols and Kazakhstan are right in between Russia and China. China would have a difficult time trying to squeez it's large armies through the narrow passage to the east of Mongolia, which is the only large connection between Russia and China. And if Russia were to attack into china's northern-most province, they would most likely be haulted by China's enormouse population, resulting in a stalemate.
Russia or China will not be useing Nukes. cus it would violate various articles of international law, including the Geneva Conventions, the Hague Conventions, the UN Charter, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All these various treaties didnt exactly stop China from its brutal invasion and occupation of Tibet or Russia's equivalent in Georgia and Cechnya. If they were serious about nuking each other i doubt human rights would hold them back, especially if they were already at war.

true but those Conflicts can make a world war and maybe a nuclear world war. But that can be easily avoided but If Russia and China are in a war and it git to a Nuclear war thin that become a World war not just a non-Nuclear world war but a Nuclear world war and that may end all life. why will it be a world war cus that will force UN to step in.
