For years, I've used Internet Explorer until the other day when I downloaded Firefox. My question: What is the best browser? I know a lot of people have Google chrome and others like it, but do you have a favorite?

Nice image Walker.

I say, Chromium is doing quite well for me right now. Even though it takes more space than Firefox it still runs faster. I love it. I used Firefox once this week and I felt like it was taking a while.

It's just chrome, it runs on the platform chromium I believe =P

Personally I love chrome, it's minimalistic and quick and what more do you need?

Chrome and Chromium are nearly entirely the same, save for Chromium being the open source basis for Chrome from which the latter takes its source code from. I believe some other features are bundled with Chrome but not Chromium.

Chromium is like a pre-development version of Chrome.

I tried chrome when it first came out and it seemed like a watered down Firefox, but that was years ago. Is Chrome really surpassing Firefox?

Also, Internet Explorer runs so poorly on my laptop compared to Firefox.

Yes Reton... Chrome seems to be on track right now. IE has fallen below 50% of the market. I first used Chrome mid-2008.

Mozilas the best but i use Internet Exsplorer :P

I've heard that Chromium is a beta version of Chrome.

I like the space so that you can see what's on the screen and not those toolbars.

chrome is faster than fire fox and the internet explorer. chrome is simple and looks good I would recommend it.

Just try every browser and see which one you like best. That's what I did.

I might go back to Firefox though.

Internet explorer 6 - Great for downloading videos from websites in an instant (coupled with RealPlayer).

Opera - User-friendly, on par with IE.

Chrome - Fast, uncluttered interface and user-friendly. Probably, the best browser after Firefox.

Firefox - Best of the lot (in my opinion) even though it may not be the fastest.

deffs Google chrome i used explorer for ages thinking chrome was bad but when i downloaded it i realized its great!

You're allowed to think Chrome is bad if you have FF and have never used Chrome XD

I just got chrome yesterday to see the difference between it and IE and I gotta say wow. The difference is a brick to the face. Everything is so fast and none of my flash games lag. I can play exit path on high quality. Chrome is a beast.
