I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
xbox 360 has a way better online. And xbox 360 has more games that are only for xbox 360 (and pc cause of micsosoft) like oblivion halo3 and gears of war
i have to go with ps3 you can acually surf the internet with it. and just because xbox has more games doesnt make it better i mean its been out way longer then the ps3
tsukuiomyFox13 its the other way around.oblivion was origanally supposed to be for the ps3 but x-box SOMEHOW managed to get there hands on it. and same with assassins creed to ubisoft made that as a ps3 exclusive but microsoft baught from them. and now if you look at the rest of the gta's HELLO SONY EXCLUSIVE FOR YEARS! and it acually isnt so expensive if you buy the lower gig wich the only difference is that you cant play your ps2 games on it
PS3 is a lot better than the 360 for multiple reasons: Reason 1- It has Metal Gear Solid 4 Reason 2- The Bluray format has won the war Reason 3- It has better exclusive games Reason 4- The PS3 doesn't have the Red Rings of Death
Well I dont have PS3 but I have Xbox 360 and I would only buy the 360 if u are going to play on Xbox Live which you have to pay for like many people do (me too). My friend has PS3 though and he says it rocks so im not going against either but my choice is the 360 because u can make freinds and stuff like that and again only if you want to buy Xbox Live. There is more to the 360 than that though like the games as in halo 3 call of duty 4 (which both systems have right? im not really sure.)and other games too. So really it is up to you what you want to get. Plus the systems are close in price and the graphics of both are awesome but it depends on the game. If you are planning on getting one and not paying monthly or yearly for something then get PS3 but again if you want to pay for Xbox Live to meet new people and make some freinds to play with then the 360 is the right choice.
