I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
id say ps3... as specre posted... if you own the console for over 2 years, paying for XBOX live would make the console more expensive than the ps3. i have a 60gig, and id say you will probably never fill up even a 40G, so don't go out and get the 80 because there is no point to having all that storage. as far as titles... the two are ABOUT EVEN. ppl will say one is better, but theyre both equally great as far as titles go, sharing many common good ones like call of duty, along with their uniques, like Halo and Devil May Cry... blu-ray is pretty cool... when i bought mine, i got a deal that i got 5 free blu-rays with my ps3, which was a cool incentive to buy. graphics- great... no red ring of death (HA) and so far ive found everything is pretty dependable.
Oh dear god. How many more forum posts are there going to be about 360 vs PS3. Its always the same. About half the people like 360 and the other half likes PS3. This is just inviting a battle of words. Its also a playing field for spammers who like to post two worded comments and never give a reason for their views. When will these forum posts stop. Admin should lock them before they get out of control.

"Free online" Reply:Cool! you can play your not as good psn for free while I enjoy xbox live and its awesomenesses for only 50$ a month.. "No RROD" Reply:Well,its getting better,and its worth waiting a month to get it back,because the 360 rocks.. Games: You can have MGS4 and DMC because I don't like them...I'll stick with GTA and Halo3.... Better graphics: You have more detail,360 has more color,not really better,just more detailed... This needs to be locked. There's been so many of these same threads. In any case, both consoles are equal, while PS3 has blue-ray, the Xbox360 has HD. I want to correct the person above me.

Xbox Live is $50 a year, not a month. Both systems are sleek, while the Xbox360 offers more than one console package. The PS3 graphics tend to better in scenery i.e. grass, water, sky, sun ect. While the Xbox360 was built for both character details i.e. the designs on cars, characters (clothing) ect.
neither because 360 is garbage and it breaks down alot and ps3 has no games! just buy the games for pc!

I'm not sure why people say xbox 360,maybe they sad they don't have a ps3,obviously ps3 is bettr.By the end of 08' no one will have an xbox 360.better graphics and blu-ray.

i defenitly agree with godofgameys, ps3 is much much btter in every way and for every 1 thing you find that supeiriorises the 360 i can tell you 3-5 for the ps3 lol try me!!!1!one
In every way, be quiet. If your going to write things to help someone make a choice, than be helpful. What you said is a slightly more intelligent way of saying,"I liked the PS3 better because it's, um, so much more better because I like and the 360 dosen't work no more um..." Please don't say things like that. It is not 'better in every way'.
i have to go with ps3 you can acually surf the internet with it. and just because xbox has more games doesnt make it better i mean its been out way longer then the ps3

Well some of that makes no sense...but Oblivion was on the Xbox360 first.
...and same with assassins creed to ubisoft made that as a ps3 exclusive but microsoft baught from them.

I like the PS3 better as 360 is libel to get the RROD after 24 hours of continues play PS3 has better graffics, better game play even for games that are for the 360 thats my two cents Chri353
I like them both. i like the 360 cuz u can get achivements and it does have a few more good games than the PS3 I like the PS3 for only 1 reason. It has Metal gear solid 4
XBox360 is the best! the PS3 isn't so good, cause blue-ray doesn't matter much. If you can get CallOfDuty4 and AssasinsCreed, XBox is better(its better anyway) and halo3 is pretty good also. MY OPINION
