I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
honestly I would say neither because my 360 broke down 6 months ago and I havnt really found a reason to fix it right now.The ps3 has no games that make me want to spend my money on geting it.But if you are one of those people that likes to play online alot then get a 360 because it is worth it.ps3 yes has online play but the 360 just beats it in every way its not funny anymore.Last I checked ps3 and ps2 were in last place in sales while Wii and dsi were at the top and 360 and psp were in the middle like this.
I just remembered that also I heard there was a new system called Onlive and you can buy games cheaper then at gamestop because you buy them off the web and its goes into a profile plus you can test games for free which is cool.Also you use a controller thats looks like a ps2 one.So its like in my book parts of a ps3 and 360 put together by a different company but it comes out this fall so you can look into that see if you wanna wait of get 1 of the other systems.
Uhh there are so many threads on this topic. 360 is cheaper, PS3 isn't, Xbox has better games and PS3 is etting there slowly, PS3 online is free, xbox isn't, so if your into to onlie play then xbox is the way to go because the community is hube but you'll have to pay for it.
Get a playstation 3!!! They are awesome! You get a blu-ray player. You dont need to pay for online( on Xbox360 you need to pay for Xbow live). The games are better and the graphics are awesome!
It is 3 months technically, because the first three accounts you create on that xbox, allows you to get 1 month of free xbox live on each of them.
Though since I assume you will be using your parent's money, Get a PS3, like the others before me have mentioned, there is a blu-ray player. get the 80 GB harddrive too because it is a super deal with a PS3.
Hey, get what you want, because asking a bunch of people on the forums is going to get ugly in the end. Let's say you end up getting a PS3, but you dislike it...then what? Return it?
Anyway, I see how everyone keeps saying 'get a PS3 it has a blue ray player' etc...
Well will you get a console for JUST the blue ray player? The 360 has better games out right now compared to the PS3. 360 online is better overall, a lot more people are on Xboxlive then they are on PSN.
In the end.........you'll always regret not getting a ............. Wii!!!
