I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
colby, if you're talking about ingame, each console really isn't the reason for lag. The Host connection is responsible for lag.
Which is why some games are so annoying to play like Gears of War. If you've ever played a game and noticed that someone doing amazing compared to the rest of the team, they're host. And on games like Call of Duty, you can tell who's host when the game ends because of lag.
360 because it is cheaper and it has live which is only less than $4 a month and it is way better than the PlayStation network and it has big microsoft exclusive games (ex. halo and gears)
ps3. better graphics, better games, and less problems. also, when microsoft introduces a new system, they will stop all maitnence on the 360. just like they did to original xbox when 360 came out. sony wont do that. they still offer maitnence on even the ps2.
Do you know what it is i own PS3 Wii and 360 and the PS3 is by far the best. wwith games like resistance 2 and noby noby boy how the hell can the xbox 360 ever even possibly come close to the PS3
